    Position: Logistics Analyst III

    Location: Dallas, TX Fully onsite)

    Duration: 12 months, Likely to extend

    Pay Range: $32-35/hour + 10 Days PTO

    Summary:

    • The main function of a logistics planning analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical planning analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
    • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
    • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
    • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

    Skills:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
    • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
    • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 2-4 years related experience required.

    Positions Contributions to Work Group:

    • Serves organization functioning as order fulfillment specialist, placing machine and/or engine product orders in business order uptake system, SAP.
    • Submits invoicing, subcontractor agreements to dealers, supports sales organization through sales execution activities.

    Typical task breakdown:

    • Placing machine or engine orders on factories, managing order portfolios for several contract programs.

    Interaction with team:

    • Daily interaction with sales, accounting, marketing, logistics, engineering, procurement, and leadership.

    Work environment:

    • Office environment with virtual meeting platforms.

    Education & Experience Required:

    • High School, GED, college degree (bachelor or associates)

    Technical Skills:

    • Excellent writing, speaking and listening skills, computer workstation and software proficiency.

    (Desired)

    • Knowledge of government invoicing, logistics systems and FARs/DFARSs, SAP, Onesource, Blue Yonder system familiarity favorable.

    Soft Skills

    • Customer focused, functions well in a fast-paced team environment, knowledgeable of construction, building, power systems, engines a plus.

    Travel Requirement: 0-25%; Peoria, IL
