    Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to include engines, motors, tools, parts (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.), to ensure optimum performance of machines and associated equipment.

    Troubleshoot mechanical devices and repair.

    Repair and/or replace functional parts of control instruments and mechanical devices and interpret instructions and diagrams in correcting existing problems.

    Maintain appropriate records of completed work performed and forwards logs along with findings to immediate supervisor.
    Notifies supervisor of needed parts and machinery.
    Spends 100% of the time in operations environment.
    Occasionally spends time exposed to outdoor and sometimes inclement weather.

    Possible Work Hazards:

    May be exposed to possible operations hazards including fumes, dust, toxic and caustic chemicals, noise, rotating machinery, high pressure and hot and cold temperatures, slippery surfaces, water and electrical hazards.

    Associate's degree with an emphasis in Electrical/Mechanical skills preferred.
    Prior work experience preferred.

    Must demonstrate proficiency in the care and use of all site specific, facility required PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), including respirators, gloves, Tyvek uniform, etc.


    Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
    ~ OSHA HAZWOPER training required.

    Requires close visual and hearing observation to detect non-conformance and machine malfunction.
    Handles hazardous materials.
