    We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Preconstruction to lead our team in the renewable energy industry.

    Located in Denver, Colorado - this permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who has 10 years' experience working within renewables with strong project management skills.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher education level is required.
    • Minimum 10 years' experience working specifically within the renewable industry
    • Experience overseeing preconstruction phases at various levels including budgeting, scheduling & procurement strategy development

    Skills:

    • Proven ability to manage crossfunctional teams through effective leadership techniques
    • Relevant technical knowledge should include Solar, Bid Management etc.
    • Solid communication abilities both verbal and written

    Responsibilities:
    The ideal candidate will have specific duties that they need to perform on a day-to-day basis which includes but not limited too;

    • Oversee all aspects of pre-construction phase from inception until completion while ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures/guidelines/standards/regulations/client requirements/best practices.
    • Conduct bid evaluations based on cost analysis reports along with relevant stakeholders (internal / external) involved throughout different stages such as design review meetings reviewing vendor quotes contract negotiations making recommendations towards final award execution .
    • Maintain detailed schedules budgets risk mitigation strategies driving continuous improvement initiatives mitigating potential risks/issues communicating effectively across departments regarding progress updates managing expectations accordingly providing regular status reporting feedback loops between business units clients vendors contractors subcontractors consultants other third parties engaged directly indirectly supporting projects under his/her purview .
