- Ensure the safe and accurate processing of medication orders, incorporating considerations such as appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and patientspecific factors, while collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens and resolve drugrelated issues.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contributing valuable insights on medication therapy management, conducting drug utilization evaluations, and playing a key role in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services to enhance patient care.
- Adhere to established policies and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices, while actively engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including medicationuse evaluations and participation in adverse drug event reporting and analysis.
- Provide clear and comprehensive medication information to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, fostering medication adherence and understanding, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient education programs aimed at achieving optimal medication outcomes and enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
