Job summary
This laborer position in the Forestry Division supports the establishment of newly planted trees within designated urban areas by transporting water and performing basic tree maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Transporting water to planting sites using gator bags or other approved watering devices
- Monitoring soil moisture and adjusting watering based on weather conditions
- Cleaning irrigation equipment for efficient operation/li>Maintaining protective guards around main stems to protect trees from damage/li>Ongoing tree health tracking/reporting/logging activities locations/notable observations/hr/>
