My client is a Global Automation Integrator looking for talented, passionate individuals with ambition to strive and think outside of the box to join their team.
As an Automation Engineer you will be expected to carry out the following:
ø You will be responsible for conceptual design and testing of Plant Control Systems (PCS) through to commissioning and qualification.
ø Required to effectively troubleshoot system malfunctions.ø Preparing Automation change record forms and perform offline or online coding and testing.
ø Independently be provide support to the projects at hand when requested i.e. program changes, assist with detailed design's and review.
Ideal Candidate
To be considered for the Automation Engineer role, you should have the following skills and experience:
ø 2+ years experience programming Allen Bradley/Rockwell or Siemens PLC systems.
ø You should have the ability to function well as a team, and motivated to work individually.
ø Have the ability to adapt to new technologies applying previously learned concepts.
ø An outside of the box thinker to identify, and solve problems efficiently.
ø Not essential, but prior experience working with Robotics or Vision systems is a huge plus.
ø Some software development with C# is also a plus.
