Coverage hours may vary — PT needed Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (day shifts).

Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and functional task practice
Monitor patient progress and update care plans to achieve measurable outcomes
Document treatments and outcomes accurately and timely in the facility's charting system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Adhere to facility policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure treatment environment
Qualifications
Professional experience as a Physical Therapist (role expects PT-level skills and clinical judgment)
Comfort working within the California Correctional Institution environment and following facility credentialing processes
Willingness to complete a 3-week orientation as part of onboarding
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
Clinical knowledge of physical therapy assessment and intervention
Skilled in therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, and patient education
Accurate documentation and outcome tracking
Ability to adapt treatment plans to varied patient needs and security environment
Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
