- Mental Health Care. As a mental health provider with CDOC you will be care from the medical wing of one of CDOC's facilities. These clinics provide medical, dental, and mental health care to the inmates and are staffed by multiple primary care & mental health physicians and APPs.
- Therapy/Counseling. 1 on 1 and group therapy & counseling.
- Crisis Intervention
- Treatment planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Collaborate & work with other mental health providers, nurses and medical assistants to ensure a high standard of care.
- Refer Patients. As needed, refer patients to off-site specialists.
- One of the following license types in the state of Colorado
- LMHC
- LPC
- LCSW
- LMFT
- Master's Degree in a Mental Health Field
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Able to pass a defensive tactics course (provided by the facility)
