Join our growing Transformation Team as we seek to hire two PMO AnalystsThe ideal candidate should have proven experience in working within a PMO in a complex project management environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data is a must.
As a PMO Analyst, you will champion best practice principles across all PMO functions, ensuring that all projects adhere to project management best practices and standards, in line with the Cardfactory Change Delivery Framework.
You will provide project management guidance and support for a portfolio of projects.This will include management and administration of all the key project management governance and control processes, including planning activities, risk and issue management, change control, document management, project resource and budgetary management, reporting and governance, monitoring and coordinating tasks, negotiation, and conflict management.
The position is based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, just off the M1, and offers free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working.
However, all colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of one to two days per week, with the expectation of added attendance when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documents
Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, following established templates and standards
Monitor project progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and milestones
Execute quality assurance activities on all project plans (e.g. there is a clear critical path, all tasks are logically linked etc.), and be able to produce a visually appealing plan on a page
Compile and analyse project performance metrics, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement
Prepare regular project status reports and dashboards for project stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and dependencies
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and reviews, ensuring timely distribution of agendas, materials, and action items
Deliver support to project managers in specialist deliverables such as planning, RAID and resourcing
Requirements:
Proven experience of working within a PMO in a complex project management environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint/Teams)
Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is preferred
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Visio, Jira, PPM Tools (i.e. Triskell) (desirable)
