    Randstad's premier staffing company is now recruiting for a Production Manager to work 1st shift in the East Knoxville area This role would be responsible for providing leadership to the manufacturing departments while being responsible for overall success of the area.

    Candidates would need to be able to work occasional weekends and 2+ years of recent experience would be required for submission.

    Pay would range based on recent experience.

    $60,000 - $70,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 5 PMeducation: AssociateResponsibilities Provide leadership to manufacturing department consisting of group leaders, team leaders and technicians.
    Develop an annual operating plan for department to support company operating planning cycle.
    Plan capital and expense budget requirements.
    Be accountable to operating plan and financial commitments.
    Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost and safety objectives.
    Identify training and development needs for department team members.
    Support continuous improvement through Kaizen and leading positive change.
    Support company policy and administer fairly and consistently.
    Facilitate good communications with leaders and team members for establishing expectations and problem resolution.
    Maintain efficiency through lean manufacturing principles, human resource planning, and flexibility.

    The essential functions of this role include:
