York Solutions is hiring a DevOps Engineer. This hybrid opportunity is in Excelsior, MN (only local Minnesota applicants).

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies and a proven track record of implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure solutions in a production environment.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform services, a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Support Microsoft Azure solutions (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS) in a production environment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Utilize demonstrable expertise and working knowledge of the Azure Cloud Platform and its associated services and policies to maintain reliability and security across all subscriptions.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud solutions, with a focus on deploying and managing Azure Database services.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in an agile environment, deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), and Docker for managing containerized environments.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of virtual machines, compute, storage, network components, and security protocols within cloud environments, with knowledge of similar on-premises protocols being a plus.
Work with Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure DNS, Application Gateway, Azure SQL Server, App Services, Blob Storage, Load Balancer, and WAF, adhering to best practices for working with technology.
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of networking principles, including IP addressing, virtual networks, network security, and networking models.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud solutions.
Proficiency in managing Azure Database services and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience working in an agile environment and utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), and Docker for managing containerized environments.
Strong understanding of virtual machines, compute, storage, network components, and security protocols within cloud environments.
Familiarity with on-premises protocols is a plus.
Excellent understanding of networking principles, IP addressing, virtual networks, network security, and networking models.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
