    We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join the Primary Health Solutions team as a Staff Physician at our Hamilton West office and our Middletown Verity Office.

    A day in the life of a

    Staff Physician:
    Provides primary medical care to the Butler County Community Health Consortium patient population.

    • Evaluates and treats patients in the ambulatory setting providing continuity of patient care.
    • Provides nighttime, weekday or some weekend and holiday call coverage as part of work schedule.
    • May participate in training of medical students, nurse practitioner and physician assistant students as requested.
    • Leads care team on daily and on-going basis, incorporating team building principles in collaborative approach to organizing efforts of multi-disciplinary group.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintains complete medical records, including history, physical exams, and telephone message summaries.
    • Completes appropriate correspondence, phone calls and letters to patients and referring physicians.
    • Act on abnormal labs immediately upon arrival.
    • Participates in health collaborative / health improvement activities.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Carries out medical administrative functions necessary for quality patient care and compliance with accreditation requirements.
    • Actively contributes to Quality Improvement and Risk Management activities and committee work in assigned areas.
    • Understand and communicate effectively with others using a variety of contexts and formats, which include writing, speaking, reading, listening and interpersonal skills.
    • Quality: Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of quality problems, owns/acts on quality problems.
    • Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow.
    Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.

    • Ohio Medical license; Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
    • Board certified in one of the primary care specialties. Current State of Ohio Medical license.
    • Clinical teaching experience and private practice experience desirable.
    • Two years experience working with indigent populations and community based programs preferred.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to work effectively and independently with all levels of clinical and administrative staff within the health centers and with community leaders.
    • Strong leadership qualities leadership experience.
    • Demonstrated program development and implementation skills.
    • Ability to represent the organization effectively in a variety of settings and with diverse communities.
