    What We're Looking For


    The Integration Analyst role works within the Integration team that is part of the IT Information Systems and Services Department.


    The role supports the mission of the University by providing data integrations between systems to meet the needs of providing administrative services and data availability to campus.


    This position will report to the Director of Integrations and will serve as a key partner to vendors, functional/operational staff that support the campus Enterprise systems especially systems utilizing student data.

    A Bachelor's Degree, two years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required. Up to five years of relevant experience is preferred.

    The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

    Prior integration experience with Oracle Cloud, Ellucian Banner Student or Peoplesoft

    Scripting:
    UNIX (preferred), Javascript, VBA

    P/L SQL and Oracle tools (FBDI, OTBI, BI Publisher)

    Fast formula development and configuration with Oracle cloud technologies

    Integration experience working with web services and integration protocols (SOAP/Rest – Postman and SoapUI)


    IpaaS tools:
    Dell Boomi (preferred), Constituo

    Jira (used for project, task, issue tracking and documentation)

    MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, Lucidcharts


    Work will be performed in an approved remote / hybrid work environment that may include travel to Waco for on-campus/in-person activities/meetings as required.

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    What You Will Do


    This position will work mostly with Student integrations by creating and deliver data integration solutions across supported systems including Ellucian Banner Student , Slate and Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP.

    Work with the campus IpaaS tools (Boomi and Constituo) to determine the best protocol for setting up new integrations.


    Responsible for developing modifications and specifications related to mapping data and supporting established interfaces and other related systems supported by the University.


    Work closely with IT colleagues, business units to identify and present opportunities for improvement by analyzing and understanding existing business processes and documenting current state, then identifying gaps to an improved future state as it relates to IT integration and data projects.


    Meet with business units to assist with regression testing as it applies to patches, vendor upgrade releases or new technology.


    Proactively examine the change impact of requests on systems and general business operations to help in determining the priority of needs and scope of work.


    Provide consulting services to application teams, vendors, and business offices as it relates to designing and evaluating new data integrations, standards and procedures and policies for managing data between campus systems.

    Scheduling, maintaining, and monitoring jobs that support integrations across systems.

    Effective communication and facilitation skills to converse successfully with technical and functional personnel.

    Demonstrate problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills associated with integrations of multiple IT systems.


    Study manuals, texts, and tutorials as necessary to obtain the required expertise on programming methods, software tools and University information systems.

    Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission

    Ability to comply with University policies

    Maintain regular and punctual attendance


    The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $75,000 - $80,000.

    The full salary range for this position classification is $61, $102,

    This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs
