- 5+ years of experience in IT applications or managing infrastructure and applications in an enterprise environment
- 2+ years of experience managing applications within a Cloud Service Provider, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of networking, storage, compute, and database fundamentals
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu, or Red Hat
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in IT in lieu of a degree

We are looking for a passionate individual who is curious and ready to build a cloud-based system that meets customer needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities and services. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve warfighter Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analyst capabilities and communications systems? We need you to assist our team as we develop cloud-based solutions to some of the Air Force's toughest challenges.
As a cloud architect on our team, you'll build, operate, and maintain hybrid cloud capabilities. You'll manage and communicate risk, utilizing your ability to strategically think, develop plans, and orchestrate execution. You'll collaborate with your team as we research the current environment and recommend tools and capabilities from various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources. You'll share expertise with your teammates as we help the customer overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the Air Force to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies, as you look for ways to improve your customer's environment using current cloud capabilities and services. You'll be able to sharpen your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while developing critical systems for the Air Force. As a technical expert, you'll identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help our client meet their evolving needs. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
