- Assist the Sr. Manager, Safety Reporting Programs by processing reports for both the Flight Operations and Inflight fatigue programs (15%)
- Support the Analyst, ASAP II and FOQA II with processing ASAP reports for Flight Operations, Inflight, Dispatch, and Maintenance programs. Assist with any investigations and/or follow-up needed after the meetings. Support the FOQA Analyst II with the PCMCIA card download process and processing aggregate data. Assist in the development of reports, and tracking project progress for both programs (45%)
- Support development of safety promotion and communications initiatives (10%)
- Prepare research studies concerning aviation safety trends (20%)
- Participate in company SMS Initiatives (10%
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and airline operations experience preferred
- 1 to 2 years of aviation safety experience preferred
- Operational familiarity with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight and Maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum equipment lists, aircraft dispatch procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Working knowledge of the Teledyne AirFase and CEFA animation software is preferred
- Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, risk management, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion
- Basic understanding of Crew Resource Management principles and aviation human factors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Excellent writing skills, including manual writing, report writing, and correspondence with government agencies
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and instructional skills
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and audits

What Will You Be Doing?
Assist various departments within the Safety department by processing information, developing reports, following up on corrective actions, investigating events as assigned and special projects as assigned by the Director, Airline Safety & Security, as well as by the FOQA and ASAP program managers.
