We invite OBGYN physicians to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Women's Health team at Wake Forest Health Network OB/GYN in Asheboro, NC.

    The Asheboro OBGYN practice is currently seeking a BC/BE Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join their growing team. The practice is a progressive multi-specialty group known for patient-first, high quality, value driven care, competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

    ASHEBORO located in the center of North Carolina offers:

    • Places to hike, bike, boat, golf and many other family activities.
    • Three major medical schools, Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest, all within an hour.
    • Home of the North Carolina Zoological Park.

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:

    • Current M.D. or D.O. license from the State of North Carolina.
    • Board certification in OBGYN.
    • Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.

    HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Only OBGYN practice in the county with 850+ deliveries per year.
    • Enjoy Friday afternoon off Practice hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
    • Call 1:6 shared amongst providers.
    • The practice offers special surgical procedures such as: laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, slings, LEEP, and in office hysteroscopy and pelvic laparoscopy.
    • Procedures are done in the office at Central Piedmont Surgery Center and Randolph Hospital.
