    Administration of the construction project; assisting the Concrete Project Manager in management of the Concrete Scope on the construction project

    THIS ROLE IS BASED IN Santa Ana, CA


    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Travel to unanticipated worksites may be required

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
    Package and submit all concrete related items such as formwork drawings, concrete mix designs, and concrete accessories.
    Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
    Prepare billings and expedite payments.
    Estimate, prepare, and negotiate change orders.
    Write subcontract change orders.
    Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
    Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
    Write project procedures.
    Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
    Prepare purchase orders and rental agreements.
    Supervise and train project engineers and clerical staff.
    Complete other responsibilities as assigned.


    MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


    Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business or related degree field and three (3) years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, or other occupation/position/job title involving construction.

    Concrete Trade experience as a Project Engineer.
    Construction Scheduling and Estimating experience.
    Concrete Field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager.
    Cost Management via experience as a Project Engineer or an Assistant Project Manager.
    Contract and Subcontract Management experience as a Project Engineer or an Assistant Project Manager.
    Experience in construction of concrete formwork and concrete placement and finishing.
    Experience working with and directly supporting concrete field labor.
    Experience working with and coordinating the rebar trade.40 hours/week; $96, $144,100.
