    Exciting Opportunity for Senior Backend Developer at Eliassen Group

    Position: Senior Backend Developer with focus on API/Microservice development

    Company: Eliassen Group

    We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Backend Developer to join our industry-leading client, operating in a hybrid capacity in Cincinnati. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maximizing code resilience and enhancing the design, development, and testability of services. Your proactive approach to evolving software capabilities will drive value to end customers.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of backend services development experience
    • 7+ years of overall software development experience
    • Experience with high throughput, distributed multi-region applications and databases
    • Backend REST microservices development experience
    • Deployment and maintenance of microservices to Kubernetes
    • Senior level expertise in Java or GO languages
    • 3+ years of experience with Cloud providers, preferably Azure
    • Experience with distributed SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably Cosmos DB
    • Proficiency in CI/CD workflows, preferably GitHub
    • Experience in regulatory environments with knowledge of HIPAA, PI, and PCI compliance
    • Excellent communication skills for user interaction

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of retail pharmacy or healthcare services processes
    • Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and PI data security requirements
    • Experience in cloud environments and application development
    • Scripting skills in Python, Ansible, or Terraform
    • Experience in building fault-tolerant distributed systems

    Applicants will be compensated based on skills, experience, and other factors. The range for this position is displayed as a W2 hourly rate, with potential alternative compensation structures available.
