    Job Description


    Job Overview:
    The KIPP MAC seeks an experienced Health Services Assistant who will be responsible for

    providing administrative coordination of health-related records to the region.

    Reporting to the Director of Health Services, the Health Services Assistant will support KIPP Metro Atlanta schools in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal health requirements and recordkeeping.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Drive immunization rates to goal of 100%
    Consistently review Form 3300 to ensure all enrolled scholars with identified hearing, vision, dental, or BMI concerns have received appropriate follow up
    Manage school-based health clinic enrollment to our respective goals to meet funders' expectations
    Coordinate with school-based health clinic providers to ensure care coordination for registered scholars
    Order and maintain inventory of

    equipment and supplies required for position to ensure fiscal stewardship
    Distribute resources such as thermometers and informative parent information packets
    Consistently communicate data-driven findings to supervisor for direction
    Communicate with families of scholars who are out of compliance and

    provide them with information to attain and maintain compliance with state regulations
    Maintain adequate records (sorting, filing, reviewing for completeness)
    Participate in school and regional registration events
    Coordinate with school and region registration personnel to ensure scholars have required health information on file at the school
    Assist with screening programs and send routine notices to families
    Provide Health Suite backup as needed
    Other duties as delegated by the supervisor

    Professional, friendly, and adaptable personality; strong ability to provide high-quality services to a wide variety of students (e.g. age, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomics)
    Ability to travel regionally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
    Possess or be willing to attain within three months of start date the following designation: Notary Public designation

    Compensation:
    Compensation for this role is

    $41,000 .


    The starting pay will depend on various factors that may include but are not limited to professional experience, education, training, and certifications.

    Location & Work Conditions:


    This position requires candidates to be based in Atlanta and regularly be in schools and able to attend in person meetings and events.

    Additional in person time may be necessary based upon organizational needs.
