Number of Beds Bed Capacity is 32
Number of Staff Unit has 40 employees
Type of staff:
Director, manager, CN s, Staff RN s, LVN s, Nurse Aides, and Unit secretaries.
Day Shift CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 nurse aides, and US
Night Shift CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 aides.
Patient Ratios 6-7 patients per nurse; 2-3 nurses depending of census.
Type of equipment PCA pumps, IV pumps
EMR -Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
(Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have:
candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Med-Surg experience.
Minimum of 2 years recent hospital experience
Preferred or nice to have:
candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Surgical experience; bilingual preferred but not a must;
Experience with Meditech
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Admissions, discharges, transfers;
Wound care, IV s, Blood administration, collecting of specimens, medication administration
Dress Code:
Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
Scrub Color - Royal Blue; Only scrub jacket in white or royal blue may be used; no outside jackets.
