    Position Title - SVP, Software Products

    Location - Remote US (strong preference for East Coast US)

    The Position and Scope

    The SVP, Software Products is responsible for leading the organization that is responsible for managing our current software portfolio and defining and building our future-state ICA (Intelligent Communication Automation) software platform. This role is responsible for creating, enforcing and monitoring the end-to-end product lifecycle and Innovation for core Software solutions. Working together with Quadient's internal executives and external stakeholders, the SVP, Software Products oversees the Product Management and Engineering teams which comprise over 400 people across multiple international geographies.

    The SVP, Software Products will ensure that Quadient's solutions are in line with business objectives by making sure that product features and technology are best-in-class and capable of meeting he growing needs of the customers and the market at large. The SVP, Software Products will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure they understand Quadient's technology value propositions.

    This position is reporting to the Chief Solution Officer of ICA and is a member of Quadient's Extended Leadership Team.

    Responsibilities

    The SVP, Software Products is assigned to the following tasks:

  • Own and execute the long-term product strategy and management for Quadient's Software Solutions.
  • Managing a product management and engineering budget with accountability and making budget decisions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Definition and monitoring of company relevant KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set.
  • Define Quadient Software solution directions and features to maximize synergies, market share and sales potential
  • Manage the ICA engineering team to ensure that the technology strategy is in line with the business and product strategy.
  • Work with Strategic and Product Marketing to help identify new product opportunities.
  • Spearhead high level product developments and enhancement and manage product lifecycle from conception to launch.
  • Plan and execute pre-launch activities, product launches, follow-up activities
  • Identify the best organizational structure for PMs to collaborate with engineering teams as well as with other internal stakeholders (product marketing, demand generation, sales, customer success, etc).
  • Work as part of the ICA leadership team to meet financial goals and to ensure the profitability of the software portfolio overall.
  • Help to formulate pricing and competitive positioning for each product.
  • Act as product advocator, participate in press activities, conferences and discussion session with thought leaders and market analyst.
  • Lead, manage and mentor team of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Engineers.
  • Representing the company with regard to strategic customers, the press and analysts for matters related to ICA software innovation.
  • Requirements

    The SVP, Software Products requires extensive experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management, including engineering and technical leadership. Additional exposure to and involvement in go-to-market definition, professional services delivery, pre-sales and technical support, and customer support are requirements as well.

    Essential requirements for this role include:

  • Strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills with sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and lead a diverse organization to deliver against deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management and software engineering practices and methodologies
  • In-depth experience of product management and marketing principles
  • Proven record of success working within a cross-functional environment.
  • Very good presentation skills - to both internal and external audiences.
  • Proven experience taking new products to market with commercial success.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple international geographies.
  • Extensive software product portfolio management with experience designing and managing against investment and rationalization frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of the document management, customer communication management, and/or financial technology markets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use conventional and unconventional approaches to resolving problems
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • This position has a salary range of:

    $224, $336,000.00
