    Lead Overhead Crane Technician

    Konecranes is hiring a Lead Overhead Crane Technician to supervise field operations reinforcing Safety and Quality Control, conducting Spot Audits, and assisting in the Customer Consultation process.

    Position includes:

    • $22-$40 an hour plus overtime plus bonus = $65,000- $90,000 first year
    • Full Benefits

    Requirements Include:

    • Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is preferred.
    • Minimum one year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair
    • Electrical experience, including 480 voltage, trouble shooting w/ multimeter
    • Experience with PLC's, VFD's, 3 phase motors, pneumatics & hydraulics
    • Mechanically inclined
    • HVAC experience
    • Industrial equipment repair experience
    • Overhead crane experience
    • Good driving record & valid driver's license.
    • Ability to work off ground. Ability to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, reach overhead, push, pull, kneel, crawl. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. daily, up to 75 lbs. occasionally, up to 100lbs. on a rare basis.

    Principal Responsibilities Include:

    • Supervise Field Operatives (Technicians & Inspectors) reinforcing Safety and Quality Control, conducting Spot Audits, and assisting in the Customer Consultation process in remote locations without a local Field Operations Manager (FOM).
    • Provide technical support, mentorship, and direction to Field Operatives
    • Stage, organize and verify equipment and parts for jobs as needed
    • Perform field work including but not limited to; repairs, inspections, on-call work, troubleshooting, project management, installations, and warranty work.
    • Assist Field Operations Manager, as needed with customers or people needs
    • Responsible for SP08 & SP09 onsite job management. Monitor and report any potential warranty request to the Territory Operations Manager (TOM) prior to performing work
