    Facility Maintenance Manager

    Location: Canton, GA area

    This person oversees the facility and maintenance operations of an industrial manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include directing the maintenance team (8 employees on 2 shifts), managing maintenance programs, and purchasing equipment, maintenance of the grounds, and the overall site needs. The role demands active involvement in vendor and contractor selection for site projects, including expansions, capital expenditure projects and renovations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and addressing any potential delays.
    • Manage and prioritize maintenance requests, allocating resources effectively.
    • Lead the maintenance team, overseeing hiring, performance management, work scheduling, and training development.
    • Collaborate with plant personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement root cause analysis solutions.
    • Engage in continuous improvement efforts across the site.
    • Administer the preventative maintenance program, ensuring thorough completion and inspection of work.
    • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, including participation in the RFP process.
    • Uphold safety protocols and quality standards, contributing to environmental compliance and reporting when needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
    • At least 6 years of experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong track record in vendor and contractor management, as well as preventative maintenance.
    • Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience.
