    Job title: Respiratory Therapist

    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to both in-patients and out-patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric.



    Job Responsibilities



    You will monitor and wean Oxygen Therapy and Artificial Ventilation draw analyze and report Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs deliver intermittent therapy assist with changing of artificial airways provide services as ordered by a physician according to established policies procedures perform routine advanced therapeutic procedures review document all clinical information regarding each patient educate patients co-workers on procedures treatment plans perform diagnostic procedures.



    Requirements



    • Certifications:
      • Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification only for trained therapists working in the NICU Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
    • Skill Set: - Strong analytical skills - Effective verbal written communication skills - Ability present information clearly professionally varying levels individuals - Computer proficiency Windows-style applications keyboard usage Required Education Associate's Degree Work Experience None
