- Be proficient in reading mechanical blueprints, basic electrical and electronic schematics, wiring lists and diagrams, assembly prints and bills of materials.
- Complete all SEF, SWS Weld Systems related paperwork, checks and prepping.
- Identify basic electrical and electronic components including but not limited to diodes, resistors, capacitors and relays on prints and actual components.
- Be proficient in building feeders, controls, weld heads, feed tubes, installing software and troubleshooting complicated technical issues with SEF, SWS Weld Systems and Spare parts.
- Be proficient in using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, electrical multi-meter for checking resistance and continuity as well as other mechanical and electrical measuring tools.
- Have working knowledge of general fastening hardware terminology and be able to identify between difference types of screws, nuts and washers.
- Capable of soldering wires and cables as well as electronic components.
- Keeps area clean and segregated.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school education and some college or trade school (preferred).
- Two (2) or more year's electrical experience (preferred).
- Computer experience (required).
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions when receiving assignments.
- Ability to read safety rules, instructions in the use of maintenance of shop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.

- Capable of soldering wires, cables as well as electronic components.
