    West Fraser is currently seeking an Engineer to become a Process Engineering Intern for the Summer 2024: May-Aug, working at our Remote Operations Center in Greenville, SC; including our nearby lumber mill in Newberry, SC. This individual will receive exposure to real-life challenges in the field and be provided with rewarding work allowing you to grow professionally. The successful candidate will work closely with onsite Engineering leaders.

    A successful Intern with West Fraser will be considered for a full-time role with the Company upon graduation and is, in fact, a primary goal of the Intern program.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate no later than December 2025 with a degree in Engineering
    • GPA of 2.75 or higher overall
    • Desire to perform hands-on work to equipment
    • Willing and able to perform a variety of tasks
    • Ability to successfully communicate daily with different levels of roles
