- Community Contracting
- Manage the process from explaining packages to finalizing closure letters for service areas.
- Submit and monitor electronic legal service requests and contract documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Establish and nurture relationships with community physicians, practices, and hospitals.
- Participate in meetings with legal counsel, leading discussions as directed.
- Collaborate with vendors to create proformas, addressing questions and issues for resolution.
- Promote compliance with regulations and organizational values.
- Financial Reporting
- Review financial reports, calculate expenses, and verify revenue.
- Address queries, missing data, or discrepancies with community practices or providers.
- Coordinate payments with Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track financial submissions and payments, facilitating audits and providing requested information.
- Three or more years of healthcare contracting or finance experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and solve problems efficiently.
- Experience with contract management systems or database tools.
- Background in accounting or financial reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility to work across various departments.
- Familiarity with CA physician contracting laws (e.g., Stark Law).

Position Summary:
The Community Recruitment Contract (CRC) Specialist oversees the preparation, review, tracking, and administration of Community Contracting agreements. Serving as a link between the corporate legal department, Dignity Health leaders, and community practices, this role manages complex audits and issues, finding effective solutions while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Occasional travel may be necessary.
