JOB SUMMARY:
Help improve sales force efficiency and effectiveness by partnering with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other functional areas to develop and report on key metrics. This co-op will be assisting the Sales Operations team in providing reporting and analysis of sales metrics and Key Performance Indicators to the organization, including management. This role will be primarily focused on assisting with Sales Reporting & Analytics within the Sales Operations team and will have the opportunity to influence process improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on key operational metrics.
• Assist with updating and improving reporting solutions including metrics management, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Develop tool(s) to provide detailed analysis and reporting on key operational metrics to various internal users, including Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, and department leaders.
• Collaborate with others to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
• Create appropriate documentation and work instructions related to reporting and analytics.
• Perform additional duties specified by the Sales Operations Manager, Demand Planners, or Sales Analysts on an ad-hoc basis.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Ensure information and processes truly increase customer satisfaction and improve departmental efficiencies and are aligned with overall organizational goals.
• Ensure optimal use of business intelligence tools and technology to drive efficiency.
• Seek out learning opportunities in departmental operations and best practices.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics or related field

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
• A high level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment
• Strong analytical capability with demonstrated adeptness at problem-solving and ability to not only view details but also understand big picture implications
• Process oriented, proactive and customer-focused
• Flexible, detail oriented, and able to quickly act under pressure and meet deadlines
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required (Advanced Excel preferred)
• Experience with dashboard reporting tools preferred (Tableau experience a plus)
• Experience with Business Intelligence and/or CRM tools a plus (Salesforce experience a plus)
