    Description

    The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the scope, schedule, and budget of projects under the guidance of the Enterprise PMO, focusing primarily on technology integration initiatives. Reporting to the Program Manager of the PMO for Technology, the successful candidate will facilitate effective project planning, risk mitigation, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the delivery of large, complex cross-functional projects, ensuring efficient management of multiple concurrent workstreams.
    • Drive effective teamwork, communication, and prioritization across various groups with competing priorities, while maintaining strong business relationships.
    • Anticipate project bottlenecks, identify risks, manage escalations, and make strategic decisions balancing business needs with technical constraints.
    • Ensure resource optimization across the organization for maximum efficiency.
    • Communicate project metrics, schedules, and statuses comprehensively across the organization.
    • Develop and maintain business requirements and acceptance criteria consistent with PMO standards.
    • Uphold PMO processes and controls across projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in project management in Financial Services.
    • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university, supplemented by project management experience.
    • Exceptional listening, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Proven IT delivery experience across all phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Strong attention to detail in managing complex projects with numerous components.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
    • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to interruptions.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage upwards and make sound decisions quickly.
    • PMP or other Project Management certification is preferred.
