Provide a student pursuing an undergraduate degree or in a graduate program with practical work experience to supplement an academic field of study.

Position would normally be a temporary assignment to be utilized during student's vacation period. Work involves a substantial variety of administrative and technical duties with instruction from supervisor.

Complete assignments within a department or activity which utilizes the employee's academic discipline;

• Develop and present project analyses;
• Application of statistics to problem solving;
• Travel as required to fulfill work assignments (will vary).

Education / Training
Enrolled in a BS Engineering program.
Have completed Sophomore year in Engineering degree program;

• Understanding of problem solving, root cause analysis and experience with segregating reliability failures from manufacturing defects and misdiagnosis.
• Microsoft Office skills required.

Position is exposed to cutting torches and welding operations.

Safety – Position is safety sensitive, as it requires working in and around live tracks and operation and repair of heavy equipment.
