- Serving as the primary project contact
- Leading and managing cross-functional project teams
- Project status reporting and surveillance for risk
- Monitoring team performance against expectations and according to key performance metrics
- Leading problem solving including management of risk and issue resolution
- Developing or reviewing study management plans
- Managing team resource assignments and accountability
- Oversight of database management
- Ensuring compliance with study tools, training materials and standard processes, policies and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical project management capacity
- Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience
- Any trial experience as a CRA, CTM, CTL or PM
- In depth knowledge of, and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements; i.e., GCP and ICH guidelines
- In depth Cardiovascular/Metabolic and protocol knowledge
- Effective mentoring and training skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
