    Description

    Reporting to the CFO, the Project Support Specialist will provide administrative and project support to the CFO, Controller, Director of Property and Construction, and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

    On-going supportive activities for the department include organizing and maintaining digital and physical files, drafting routine correspondence, drafting meeting minutes (in a highly professional style), event planning for advisory body meetings, developing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, and the collecting and reporting of data contained in those presentations.

    This role is hybrid, 30 hours/week, with 1-2 days per week in the office and the balance remote.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years professional work experience.
    • Ability to support multiple functional areas, including prioritizing competing priorities.
    • High level of service orientation to those in the department and to parishes and priests.
    • Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Event/Meeting Planning skills.
    • Previous writing and editing experience.
    • Ability to work with property, financial, and insurance databases (Risk Partner property database, some general knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge would be a plus), design and construction contract requirements, and the coordination of auto and property insurance is a significant plus.
    • Ability to triage phone calls and email that come to the department and get them to the right person that can address questions that arise.
    • Highly organized, self-starter, multi-tasker, team player.
    • Intellectual curiosity about how a diocese functions and a respect for the mission of the Catholic Church.
