We are seeking a qualified Residential AV/Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This professional works directly with customers and peers to facilitate installation, integration, operation, and maintenance of various systems.     Responsibilities:
    • Install low voltage systems; cabling, terminating equipment and installing components such as wall plates, speakers, cameras, and screens.
    • Install and document cable plant designs in support of complex and large-scale Audio/Video and IT projects in Custom Residential environments.
    • Install and troubleshoot network components; switches, routers, wireless access points.
    • Install, integrate and program home automation control systems.
    • Provide support, troubleshoot and repair equipment, networks and associated low voltage systems and components.


    Requirements

    Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience

    Understanding of audio, alarm, fire, and lighting systems; and overall home automation or the ability to learn.
    • Proficiency with the installation and troubleshooting of network components: switches, routers, wireless access points.
    • Experience with integration and set up of systems in a custom residential environment is a plus.
    • Savant, ELAN, RTI, Crestron, Lutron, AMX or other programming a plus.
    • Customer service oriented- ability to educate clients on systems using simple instructions and maintain a positive relationship with clients on a continual basis.
    • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, instructions, and other technical documentation.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is mostly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting.
