Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment to optimize production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including but not limited to lubrication, cleaning, and calibration.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment downtime.
Collaborate with other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and optimize production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for working with machinery and equipment.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
