    VACO IT in Atlanta is actively looking for a Sr.

    IT Project Manager for a HYBRID Consulting role out of the north Atlanta area Candidates should have a varied experience in AppDev environments, Engineering, Business Administration efforts, etc., and have at least 5-7 years of total Project Management experience.


    Candidates MUST be located in the metro Atlanta area as this role will be HYBRID (3 days/week) in office
    NO CORP/C2C/Vendors allowed for this client

    Sr. Project ManagerResponsible for leading and managing a wide range of projects.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
    Coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
    Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
    Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
    Track project milestones and deliverables.
    Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
    Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
    Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field.5+ years of direct work experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector.

    Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
    Proficiency in project management software tools.
    PMP certification is highly desirable.


    Skills:
    Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization.
