    I am recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of utility-scale solar solutions based in the vibrant state of Texas.

    With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, we specialize in developing, constructing, and operating solar energy projects that power communities and drive environmental progress.


    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a talented Contract Data Engineer to join our dynamic team of renewable energy enthusiasts.

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to optimize the performance and efficiency of utility-scale solar projects.

    This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

    Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze telemetry data from utility-scale solar installations.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven insights to optimize solar plant operations.
    Implement predictive analytics models to forecast energy generation, identify potential issues, and optimize maintenance schedules.
    Develop data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
    Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and renewable energy.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven experience as a data engineer, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
    Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with SQL databases.
    Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
    Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

    Location:
    Texas (Remote work may be considered)

    Contract Duration:
    6 months minimum
