    We are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator who is looking at becoming a part of a growing

    company with room for advancement. This person must be self-motivated and can multitask.

    Someone that wants to be in hotel sales and that can learn from our sales team on what it takes to

    be a sales person here at the Crowne Plaza Arlington. Our Job description is below:

    SUMMARY:

    Provide administrative and customer support for assigned sales managers. Prepare sales-related

    documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Gather

    materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Enter, retrieve,

    reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales

    process. Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases to update records, files,

    reservations, and answer inquiries from guests. Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word

    processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Create and maintain computer- and paperbased filing and organization systems for records, reports, and documents. Compile, copy, sort, and file

    records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. Welcome and acknowledge all

    guests according to company standards anticipate and address guests service needs, prepare and review

    written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

    Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals,

    and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of clients. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place

    objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties

    as requested by managers.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Must have knowledge or the ability to learn Opera operating system.
    • Must have knowledge or the ability to learn
    • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Programs.
    • Responsible for inputting group contracts, rooming list and reservations that come to the hotel Monday- Friday 8:30AM-4:30.
    • Responsible for answering all incoming calls to sales team before going to voice mail.
    • Responsible for all walk-in sales request and notifying appropriate sales manager of walk-ins.
    • Responsible for updating all proposal and contract shells upon request.
    • Responsible for updating upon request.
    • Responsible for billing and posing for Catering.
    • Attends daily sales standup.
    • Attends daily 9am operations meeting (Monday-Friday).
    • Attends weekly Sales meeting.
    • Responsible for VIP request.
    • Carries out any request by Sales team & GM.
