    Snowflake seeks an experienced Corporate or Senior Corporate Counsel - Public Sector to support a wide range of complex Government and Higher Education transactional matters in the U.S.

    and Canada. You will be joining a growing, world-class legal team, reporting directly to the Director, Assistant General Counsel of Legal. This is a high visibility role with ample opportunities for professional growth as our company rapidly scales.

    This is an in-person role based in either Atlanta or McLean (Virginia).AS CORPORATE OR SENIOR CORPORATE COUNSEL - PUBLIC SECTOR,


    YOU WILL :


    Have extensive knowledge and experience negotiating complex transactional SaaS, Supply Schedule/Framework Agreements, Partner Agreements, PS&T/SOW and other types of agreements that support the company's government sales cyclesBuild and support Snowflake's US Public Sector Federal, State and Local government and Higher Education strategy, compliance and contracting policies and practicesWork well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentOUR IDEAL CORPORATE OR SENIOR CORPORATE COUNSEL -PUBLIC SECTOR WILL HAVE :5+ years of U.S.

    Public Sector transaction experience, preferably a combination of law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth enterprise SaaS company, negotiating various types of SaaS contracts, including government procurement vehiclesExcellent negotiation and drafting skillsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and export controlExceptional organizational, project management, and prioritization skillsThe ability to think and execute both strategically and tacticallyOutstanding written and oral communications skillsThe ability to work with a wide variety of people, at all levels in the organization, in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated commitment and alignment with our Snowflake valuesService-oriented, professional and strong integrityA JD degree from a leading schoolBar membership sufficient to practice in-house in the relevant jurisdictionThe following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $153,000 - $214,200.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

    The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

    This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:

    medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
