Job summary
The Radiation/Cancer Center Nurse Identifies the nursing care needs and evaluates the effectiveness of the plan of care for adult and geriatric radiation therapy patients.- Provides professional nursing care by conducting an initial and ongoing nursing assessment, identifying physical, psychosocial and educational needs to patient's ongoing radiation treatment.
- Provides nursing assistance to the Radiation Oncologist in pre-treatment patient consultation and follow-up exams/visits.
