    Description DESCRIPTION Do you have a passion for products? If yes, we need you in the Private Label business. The Amazon Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager. The Sr. Product Manger's primary responsibility is to build and grow the Consumer Electronics category on the Hardlines Private Brands team. They own the category P&L and work directly with the Product Development team to set the vision, objective and priorities for product development roadmaps. This role works closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Retail to deliver business initiatives. Primary deliverables of this role include but not limited to:
    • Category strategy ownership and multi-year roadmap
    • Consumer insights, competitive landscape, and need/gap analysis
    • P&L ownership
    • New product ramp and performance
    • Business reviews
    • Product Lifecycle Management
    The Sr. PM will own their category, and work as an intermediary between customer-facing teams and stakeholders across the business. This role is the visionary, defining the Whys and How's of a successful business, as well as the market lead, delivering what consumers need at the right time. We are looking for individuals that are analytical and strategic, with an understanding how to effectively scale products online. Key job responsibilities The Sr. PM's primary responsibility is to 1) grow product categories within Consumer Electronics, and 2) develop and own the 3-year category strategy, inclusive of product innovation, trends, product position features, and value offered vs. competitors. The role requires strong financial acumen, ability to make independent (high judgement) decisions with a strong ability to prioritize. The role is non-playbook, and successful PMs thrive in ambiguity, love solving difficult problems and just "get things done." P&L ownership and e-commerce category management experience is essential to succeed in the role.     • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
    • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
    • Experience with end to end product delivery
    • P&L ownership and e-commerce category management experience
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
    • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
    • Master's degree or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
