- Design and implement key performance indicators across the supply chain to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
- Monitor and enhance supplier performance through robust vendor management systems and corrective action plans to address material defects or performance shortfalls.
- Stay abreast of global and domestic logistics trends, material management techniques, and inventory control practices to optimize supply chain operations.
- Select and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and safeguard intellectual property while ensuring the fulfillment of financial and operational objectives.
- Develop and manage inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring continuous material availability and alignment with production schedules.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure supply chain alignment with product development and design changes, aiming to meet customer demands seamlessly.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining updated Safety Data Summary forms.
- Implement procurement and inventory management practices that align with the companys cost and quality objectives.
- Lead and empower the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to achieve business goals.
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and materials management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record in supervisory roles.
- Expertise in negotiation, procurement, inventory, and distribution management, including planning, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of current supply chain practices and innovations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Syteline, as well as Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
