    Network Architect - Infoblox

    Optomi, in partnership with one of our premiere clients, is looking for a Network Architect to join their Orlando team This position will work with other Network Architects to define system requirements and design the proposed InfoBlox configuration. After the design is approved, the candidate will update InfoBlox and determine which address ranges are not being leveraged properly so that we can more efficiently manage the IP addresses.

    **Hybrid 2-3 days in Orlando**

    **6 month contract through October then will either extend or convert to full time**

    Qualifications/Responsibilities:

    • 4-Year Degree in a STEM field
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the InfoBlox IPAM tool.
    • 5+ years of experience in network configuration or administration, deploying and maintaining highly resilient and scalable distributed LAN and WAN network architecture in critical production service environments.
    • Working knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN topologies & platforms, routing protocols, current data center architectures, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, multicast, VRF, QoS, etc.
    • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
    • Main focus is getting Infoblox configured, set up containers, tool will suck in the address and then put out reports.
    • Infoblox- network architect who has some admin background within Infoblox
    • IPv4 is what his main push is, familiarity with IPv6
    • Good background with route, switch, firewall, core fundamentals
    • Enterprise experience, Infoblox for a few years
    • Usually 5 years is minimal, have inprocess of creating enterprise automation solution, get to the automation function, Infoblox would spit out block of addresses
    • Take inputs and set them up with hierarchy
    • Infoblox, Cisco, Palo Alto, F5
    • Core network- other project- migrations and acquisitions and rolling out BGP and getting rid of RIP, EIGRP and going thru that to audit and see what that means and comb through the network and check the devices, make sure ASA numbers are correct
