- Chinle VA Clinic: 5 days a week
- Kayenta VA Clinic: 3 days a week
- Page VA Clinic: 2 days a week
- Polacca/Hopi Clinic: 3 days a week
- Tuba City VA Clinic: 2 days a week
- Positions Available:
- Primary Care Nurse Practitioner: Full-time position available for daily coverage.
- Mental Health Practitioner (Psychologist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner): Full-time position available for daily coverage.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Completion of an NP-focused graduate master's or doctoral nursing program.
- Certification: NP Board Certification
- Cardiac Certifications: Must have the following hands-on certification through the American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizen.
- English Language Requirement: Shall be able to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with all patients and other health care providers.
- Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and vital signs monitoring.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate patient education
- Perform procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
