oversees management of Purchasing and Scheduling to direct activities so that materials and supplies are on site for approved products to be manufactured on schedule and within budget.

Manages and monitors purchased and produced inventory flow and cost to prevent shortages and support production goals.

Determines production scheduling based on open orders, forecasts and sales trends. Revises production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems.

Establishes individual parts' inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover and minimized obsolescence, while ensuring OTD to production, across all company branch facilities.
Manages supplier cost, quality and delivery performance while strategically bench marking alternative suppliers to address any identified cost, quality, delivery or warranty constraints.
Manages and directs materials group to optimize efficient inventory handling (least amount of touches), OTD of materials to work centers and overall inventory control.

Requirements
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Business Administration, or related field.
Experience managing and controlling inventory with an ERP is required. Experience should include demonstrated skills in using data to identify problems, and implement and measure
solutions/improvements.
Strong computer skills, including ERP/MRP, data analysis, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio).
Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes, and principles.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, or employees of organization.
Willing to travel both domestically and internationally up to four (4) weeks per year.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration, and occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
