    Position: Electrical Engineer

    Location: Durham, NC (Onsite)

    Tax Terms: W2 ONLY

    Overview of the Role:

    We are in search of an adept Electrical Engineer to take charge of various facets in the design, innovation, testing, and production of our pharmacy automation machinery. The primary emphasis of this position revolves around upholding a product design that caters to the Product Operations division and ensures consistent part procurement at an acceptable cost level. This role might necessitate involvement in both fresh product development and ongoing tasks with manufacturing units for our current product line. Meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, effective communication, and a keenness to collaborate within a team setting are qualities essential for excelling in this role.

    Core Responsibilities:


    - Collaborate with the procurement team to identify alternative components for those that are discontinued or significantly more expensive. Revise and issue design documents to integrate the new components.


    - Address manufacturing challenges, enhance and maintain testing setups, troubleshoot unit issues, scrutinize field concerns, manage component challenges, and offer general electrical product assistance.


    - Propose electrical remedies for modifications to existing products including designing test setups for manufacturing, creating test applications, devising tools for system diagnostics and monitoring capacities, and delivering backing for prevailing board designs.


    - Utilize electrical engineering expertise to enhance and innovate products such as robotics, servo systems, power electronics, communication networks, and supervisory control systems.


    - Develop, amend, and distribute technical documentation to underpin the electrical aspects of the developing systems.

    Requisite Skills and Qualifications:


    - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


    - A minimum of 6 years of experience


    - Proven proficiency in motion control, power electronics, servo systems, and embedded control systems


    - Acquaintance with Altium PCB development environment or a similar EE design tool


    - Strong communication abilities: adept at liaising with various departments


    - Organized and motivated team player


    - Effective problem-solving skills


    - Possesses a creative and innovative mindset


    - Efficient time management prowess


    - Proficiency in LabView software for test automation support would be advantageous.

    - Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling items up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds periodically


    - Other physical duties may be necessitated as and when required
