    (HCG) is growing We are seeking a talented Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic HCG team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH).

    As the QC Manager, your responsibilities include overall management of the Contractor's Quality Control (CQC) with the authority to act in all CQC matters for the Contractor, Herman Construction.

    Your duties include maintaining current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.

    The referenced records shall be on an acceptable form and shall include factual evidence that required quality control activities and/or tests have been performed.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish the QC Program and manage its implementation.
    • Execute and fulfill all duties as the Contractor's LEED Coordinator as specified.
    • Collaborate with and aid the Government's Commissioning Authority.
    • Participate in the partnering meetings, QC Plan Meetings, and Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meetings.
    • Assess submittal documents.
    • Verify that testing takes place and deliver QC certifications and documentation as outlined in the Contract.
    • Manage and direct the progress of the three steps of inspection and testing, done by lab personnel and other inspection and testing personnel stipulated by the Contract.
    • Adhere to and enforce strict QC regulations and procedures.
    • Make sure regulations of OSHA and USACE EM are complied with.
    • Regularly convene QC meetings and prepare and provide daily QC reports.
    • Documentation of QC compliance must be kept and record drawings and specifications must be maintained.
    • Identify, log, monitor, and finalize the clearing of re-work items.
    Qualifications

    • On-site full-time.
    • Graduate Engineer, Graduate Architect, or Graduate of Construction Management.
    • Minimum Five Years of Construction Quality Control experience of similar size and complexity, Or a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
    • Certificate of completion for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course within the last 5 years.
    • CPR, AED, and First Aid courses completed within the last 2 years.
    • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.

    Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients.

    Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds.

    If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection.

    Working ConditionsJob is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.

    Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.

    Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
