    Description

    TITLE:
    Lead Software Developer



    LOCATION:
    Maryland Heights, MO



    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Support, troubleshoot, and develop Spectrum Mobile buyflows and enterprise-level web services for Backend.
    • Design, develop, modify, and implement applications and/or services to support the organization's applications.
    • Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams on problem resolution, defects, design issues, and upgrades.
    • Code, test, and debug new software with little to no assistance.
    • Analyze and develop java solutions based on customer requirements.
    • Assist with strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components.
    • Lead code review sessions and provide input to development teams.
    • Resolve incidents and problems for production applications and web services.
    • Support continuous improvement and present alternatives and technologies for architectural review.
    • Mentor and train junior team members and serve as an escalation point for all issues.
    • The position does not directly supervise team members.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
    • 4 years of experience in Java programming languages, designing, coding, developing, and testing software applications.
    • 4 years of experience in developing Enterprise web applications with Spring.
    • 4 years of experience processing large volumes of data and performing database operations using Oracle SQL.
    • 3 years of experience building Microservices using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
    • 3 years of experience writing unit test cases and test using Mock, Junit, and Mockito.
    • 2 years of experience in developing and configuring ETL jobs using Pentaho.
    • Hybrid (in-office and remote) arrangement available.
