The Driscoll Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas is recruiting a Board certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist.The Heart Center at Driscoll Children's Hospital is under rapid expansion with ongoing construction of state-of-the-art operating rooms, cardiac catheterization suite and a 34-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit.
The ideal applicant, MD/ DO, will have successfully completed a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship in an ACGME accredited program and must be ABA board certified.
The pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia division at the Driscoll Childrens Hospital Heart Center covers all congenital cardiac patients for cardiac based procedures both in the OR and the cardiac catheterization lab.
We also cover most of the congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery.Successful applicants will enjoy a highly competitive compensation package , medical, dental, and vision disability and life insurance, excellent retirement plans, generous paid vacation days, paid holidays, paid CME and malpractice insurance.

Through the vision and generosity of its founder, Clara Driscoll, Driscoll Childrens Hospital opened in 1953, becoming the first, and remains the only, free-standing childrens hospital in South Texas.
In 2019, Driscoll had over 141,000 patient visits, including over 46,000 patients seen at South Texas first emergency room created exclusively for children.
