Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer (FT)
Compensation: $38-$45/Hour (depending on experience)

Overview:
Colorado Lighting (CLI Services) is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical project execution—ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and customer satisfaction. You will lead projects from initial planning through closeout, coordinating teams, materials, and schedules to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish.
- Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, address installation concerns, and ensure satisfaction upon completion.
- Assist in sourcing materials and coordinating with the purchasing department for updates.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to load/unload vehicles and ensure materials/tools are ready for the install team; occasional job site deliveries may be required.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including punch walk reports and data input.
- Oversee daily work order management.
- Create and manage project timelines and schedules.
- Lead project closeout processes.
- Take detailed notes during customer and project meetings.
- Respond to customer feedback and manage any necessary resubmittals or revisions.
- Provide project updates and reports to customers.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team environment.
- Provide daily direction and support to the project team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Daily field work.
Qualifications:
- Required: Current Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Computer software experience: Outlook, Excel and dispatching software a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on field experience in commercial electrical work.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and tools.
- Proficient in the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Effective leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

CLI-SERVICES was founded in 1977 and has steadily grown over the past 40 years. We have on staff certified lighting consultants, journeyman electricians, master electricians, and certified lighting technicians. Our employees drive fully stocked service vehicles. In addition to our service vehicles, we have fully stocked bucket trucks with the capability of reaching up to 100 ft. working height. We also have 24-hour on-call service as well as tablets with cellular connection.
CLI-SERVICES provides sustainable energy-efficient solutions from consultation through installation and recycling. We enhance the efficiency of lighting and electrical systems for our customers through expert assistance in (1) specifying which products will produce the greatest energy and maintenance savings while providing the best solution to meet customer goals, (2) supplying and installing the new lighting and electrical products and (3) maintaining the lighting and electrical system. Customer service is our number one focus. We provide full-service solutions to our customers; the key element being the long-term relationship we build and maintain.
