    Description

    Position Summary:
    The
    Receiving Specialist's main role is collecting the goods that have been
    shipped. The Receiving Specialist checks the invoices, loads the goods,
    stocks it in warehouse, and carries out a wide range of other activities
    as assigned by the Receiving/Operations Manager.


    Responsibilities/Duties:
    Checking the consignment matching the contents with the details on the invoice
    Monitoring the bills and check the payment
    Ensuring that the goods can be stocked safely in the warehouse
    Recording
    the information about the consignment like the weight of the parcel,
    the number of parcels, the duty charges and other parameters
    Monitoring the net expenses and related data for goods that are shipped to the consumers
    Maintain a safe work environment within the department for customers and staff
    Bring any and all backorders to the attention of the supervisor
    Other tasks as defined by management

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Must be detail oriented and organized
    Ability to handle phone calls and emails effectively
    Ability to lift heavy objects pounds)
    Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

    Credentials and Experience:

    2 year minimum of previous receiving experience
    High school diploma or equivalent
